 Post subject: Should Roco re-design the 61140 Geoline Turnout?

Hi!

I've been reading about Roco Geoline track and how when 2 identical Roco Geoline turnouts/Weiche (61140 or 61141) are connected together, a shorter 185mm ‘equalisation straight’ (61111) is required.

There is a diagram at the top of page 2 which shows this better than I can explain it:

Do members of the forum think it would be a good idea if Roco changed the design of the 61140/61141 turnout/weiche so that a standard 200mm straight could be used instead of the shorter 185mm (61111) piece of track? It would make life much easier :)

The change would require that the single end of the turnout/weiche is 7,5mm longer and the straight exit at the other end of the turnout/weiche is 7,5mm shorter:
