Hi!

I've been reading about Roco Geoline track and how when 2 identical Roco Geoline turnouts/Weiche (61140 or 61141) are connected together, a shorter 185mm ‘equalisation straight’ (61111) is required.

There is a diagram at the top of page 2 which shows this better than I can explain it:

Do members of the forum think it would be a good idea if Roco changed the design of the 61140/61141 turnout/weiche so that a standard 200mm straight could be used instead of the shorter 185mm (61111) piece of track? It would make life much easier

The change would require that the single end of the turnout/weiche is 7,5mm longer and the straight exit at the other end of the turnout/weiche is 7,5mm shorter:
