Hi,

I'm amazed by what you have achieved there in Hamburg and a trip over there is certainly on my agenda for the near future.

I'm puzzled by how the car system works and though i have read the technology pages on this website, I'm hoping that someone can answer my questions in more detail. Firstly I was wondering how the the individual cars communicate and recieve instructions from the central "brains"? It's obviously some sort of wireless system but i'm interested to know more details. Secondly how do the cars know exactly where they are on the layout?

Hopefully someone can shed some light on the matters so that i can sleep at night. All replies most apprecated.

Thanks,
Michael

Hi Michael,
I'm afraid, I have to disappoint you concerning your questions.
The controlling system has been developed inhouse by Gerrit Braun and as long as he is not willing to reveal more details than are described in our technology pages, we (the Wunderland staff) are not able to tell you more...

Sorry,
Erhard
