Hi. I've noticed that some Trix locomotives have 21 pin DCC sockets instead of 8 pin sockets and was wondering if the 21 pin decoders were more difficult to fit?

Do the 21 pin decoders have plugs wired to them or do they slide into the locomotive like the sim card in a mobile phone?

Thanks

Hello!

These decoders have 21 pin plugs "on bord". It means the plugs is surface mounted on the layout. The decoder will be directly connected to the loco circuit layout. These decoders donĀ“t have cables.

Greetings
Stephan
