Hi, I am wanting to purchase an english version of the DVD: A Small World But Larger Than Life for my father but wanted to know if it will play / is compatable with Australia? I dont want to pay EUR19.90 plus shipping costs if it will not work. Has anyone in Australia purchased this DVD before and been able to watch it? Also is it in English?
All your comments would be much appreciated.
thanks, Kylie :D

Mike,
Sorry for the late reply. I am currently in the US (FL) and have a copy of the DVD with me. As soon as I get a chance, I will try it out nd let you know the outcome. It works perfect on any computer though...

Take care,
Erhard

AFAIK DVDs are not universal because they are either for American TV (60 pictures/second) or European TV (50 pictures/second).
Modern TV sets support both frequencies, so it could work - depends also on the DVD player.

It was already said: no problem if you watch them on a computer.
