Hi,
does anybody know a manufacturer who produces Ford Mustangs made of plastic (Scale 1/87). I only have the Mustang by Schuco. But this one is made of metal and as you can see, the details are not quite good.
I hope you can help me.. :)

I do noit think that they are metal models.
I´ve thought this once, too, because they look like they were, but I´ve seen and touched a lot of them and they all were from plastic.
On the German homepage is also written, that they only produce plastic models in scale 1/87 (they´ve buildt 1/18 scale cars made from metal once ago).

a quote from www.rickoricko.de
Quote:
Ricko produziert nur noch Kunststoffmodelle im Maßstab 1:87.
(Ricko just produces plastic models in scale 1/87.)

But I just took a look at one at Obletter and it was a metal model..
I'm gonna order one model and see what it is :)

Will do.
I wouldn't wonder if the RICKO Mustang is exactly the same car as the Schuco-Mustang.. We'll see..

Yeah, but I would wonder, if it is from metal.
Because I don´t know about Ricko cars from metal.

I didn't think that either. I was surprised as well when I saw the model at Obletter.

Edit: Yesterday I took a closer look at one of the RICKO Mustangs.. Bad News: It is a metal model :(
