Hi, My mother had what she called a German village that she placed on the fireplace mantel each Christmas. She gave the whole thing away and I don't know who to whom. I'm trying to figure out how to recreate this. The buildings were of a small old German village with people and accessories. She used styrofoam to mold her mountainous background. The buildings were bought in Germany in the 1960's as kits. They were plastic and very detailed. The buildings in the Austrian ski village look close to what I remember. I do not remember the company name but these buildings are the closest that I've seen to it. I would really like to recreate what she had. I have no pictures at this time. I'm hoping you can give me some ideas.
Thanks,
Shellie

Thank you so much!!! I'll check it out. The Faller logo looks familiar. :jump:
Thanks,

POLA Kits, now part of the Faller Company produced very good detail 'N'gauge model buildings as does Faller. I'm sure you'll find something suitable in the catalogue.

Good hunting,

Showman.
