I worked in Hamburg some years ago, visited your 'little place' a couple of times and like following what goes on. I saw a photo in one of the papers here in London with one of your guys placing an airplane at the airport. Behind the plane was a couple of tank trucks. One of them was AirBP. Is that a special for 'MiniaturWunderland' or is it possible to buy these trucks?
Also interested in the plane models, especial British Airways.

It is at least 5 years since I was in HH, so looks like I have return to see the progress you have made.

In one of Gerrit's Diary clips he explains that there was a cooperative effort with the company to make those models, as they are wider than the usual tanker. So I would guess that they are not for sale.

I thought of a tip for recharging aircraft in flight - what do you (or anyone) think?

Charging Aircraft Batteries:
Too late now to change your system, but this may work as a tip if some planes need more power during a "day".
One of Gerrit's Diary clips mentioned poles extend into the plane body for charging, and the plane is in hibernate mode. My tip would suggest using the catapult poles to supply a trickle charge during take-offs and landings. Plane can't be in hibernate, of course, so the power supplied would only boost the battery a bit, and polarity should reverse if landing direction is switched, but that small amount of power, supplied on every landing and takeoff, may serve to keep a large plane working longer before needing a full charge. (Or a small plane that has only a small battery?)

Gerrit explained in one diary footage, that each model is a single piece worth about 10,000 € in construction costs.

Hi!

Methinks it's prototypically correct that a jet plane will be out of sight for quite some time after it took off. So charging them in the shadow station is no disadvantage.
