Hi!

The nearest airport is Hamburg.

Instructions about the location (and how to get there) can be found here:

I've never been there, but I've heard that one day is not enough to see everything.

G´day,
you can spend one day in the MiWuLa, and have seen not all of it. Because you find everytime some new bits and pices.

You can also prebook your Ticket for the MiWula.

The Online Shopmake it easy. You don´t have to wait to come in.

See yaa

This would be my recommendation:

- if you can arrange it, try to leave out the local holiday seasons and weekends, especially if you want to visit in the near future. Many Miwula fans will want to see the airport soon, now that it's been just finished.

- plus: travelling between Mon-Fri will get you cheaper air fares and better hotel deals (or at least vacancies)

- take a friend with you (my wive is not at all into model trains but enjoyed 4 hours there with me, ---- but later left for the nearby centre of the city to go shopping)

- early mornings and late afternoons are the best times for your visit. Therefore to divide it into two parts might be a good idea, as the entrance fee is more than affordable:

> Get a first impression in the afternoon or early evening on the day of your arrival
> then come back early on the second day to go straight to the places of most interest.

The museum is really downtown, so you can easily combine Miwula with sightseeing, shopping, etc.
