Anyway, I was looking through your previous progress reports and came across the active motorway signs you have made. Very impressed. What I want to know is how you have printed the speed limits (45/65 25/55)in reverse onto the plastic / glass, such that they are hard to see under normal circumstances until lit up?

I have wanted to create a control panel with similar printing for a while now (anyone who knows B&O Beocentres of the 80&90's will know what I mean!) but haven't found a satisfactory method yet!

Can you guys help?

Hi Olly!!
I know you had to wait a while to get the info you need but here we go:

It is quite simple. For each sign we built little boxes into the bridge. The sign itself is a seethrough printed foil. Just put 2 white LEDs into the boxes and you have fantastic motorway signage!

Only one thing (promise won't bother you after this I know you must be busy!) but I am not sure what you mean by 'see through foil'. Are you simply referring to Transparency Film?
